University of Louisville selects StatMonitr for 2014-15

LOUISVILLE, KTY. -- The University of Louisville will use the StatMonitr media stats system for its home athletic events in 2014-15, StatBroadcast announced today. StatMonitr will provide media and staff with a real-time stats feed of the action of Louisville athletics throughout the academic year.

The University of Louisville is a public university founded in 1798 and is a member of the Kentucky state university system. The Louisville Cardinals are beginning their first season as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division-I FBS and sponsor 21 varsity sports. Louisville's mens basketball team won the 2013 NCAA Championship after having advanced to their third Final Four in ten years (2005, 2012); it was the third crown for the school to accompany their 10 Final Four appearances. The womens basketball team also reached the Final Four in 2013, their second appearance (2009) in the past five seasons. The Louisville football program has won eight conference championships and appeared in 18 bowl games in its history, including a 2-0 record in BCS games, winning the 2006 Orange Bowl and the 2012 Sugar Bowl.

Louisville is the fifth university from the state of Kentucky and the eleventh member of the current ACC to partner with StatBroadcast.
