StatBroadcast® Accessibility Guidelines
StatBroadcast is committed to maintaining accessibility of its sites and apps for all
StatBroadcast has made accessibility of its sites and live stats applications a priority and is committed to adhering to best practices and following the Web Content Accessibility 2.x (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 ) guidelines set forth by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). StatBroadcast routinely completes checks of its sites and pages to make sure that it is adhering to these guidelines; whenever possible, we have implemented and when not, we have provided an alternative solution for those accessing our pages through accessibility tools.
These steps include:
- Skip to main content links on every page
- Maintaining limited sight guidelines with regards to contrast and font size adjustments, and when not possible due to school color branding, providing a 'High Contrast Mode' for users that may be vision impaired.
- Providing an Accessibility mode for our live stats feeds (accessible via the first link on each feed) that strictly adhere to the WCAG 2.x guidelines and allow those accessing stats feeds using accessibility tools with an enhanced user experience. It includes:
- Encapsulating all abbreviated and shorthand statistics categories that appear in our feeds with abbr tags that describe the abbreviations in full-length.

A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a document that explains how information and communication technology (ICT) products such as software, hardware, electronic content, and support documentation meet (conform to) the Revised 508 Standards for IT accessibility. VPATs help Federal agency contracting officials and government buyers to assess ICT for accessibility when doing market research and evaluating proposals.
